Environmental Policy We at Universal Chemical Industries (Pvt.) Ltd. (UCI) shall fulfill our responsibility towards society and environment in all our activities, products and services.
Compliance: We shall comply with relevant environmental legislation and applicable international codes and standards. High priority: The protection of the environment is a high priority and we shall strive to prevent pollution at its sources, reuse and recycle when source reduction is not feasible or provide environmentally sound treatment and/or disposal when reuse or recycling is not possible, keeping in view our resources.
Specialty chemicals: As one of the leading producer of specialty Textile chemicals in Pakistan, We shall endeavor to develop environment friendly products. We seek to minimize the impact of our wastewater on the environment and try to handle our waste in an environmental friendly manner.
Management program: We shall implement a management program to measure progress and evaluate results against set objectives and targets.Training: We shall ensure and strive that our employees are trained related to their environmental responsibilities.
External communication: We shall promote openness and dialogue on environmental issues with our employees, suppliers, contractors, clients and the public.
Continual improvement: We are committed to continually improve our environmental management system.
